End commercial whaling
On 26th December 2018, the Government of Japan announced its intention to restart commercial whaling, and leave the International Whaling Commission.

At a time when the world’s whales are choking on plastic rubbish, being poisoned by toxic pollution, and under threat from climate change, noise and overfishing - the one thing we do not need is a return to commercial whaling.

Whaling for profit has been banned for over 30 years. This industry belongs in the past.

Help call on the Government of Japan to end commercial whaling and work with the global community to protect the world’s whales.
