Welcome to the Frack Free Bake Off!

"Two years ago, a group of grandmothers occupied Cuadrilla's fracking site in Lancashire. They gave out cake and talked to people passing by about the dangers of shale gas drilling. Inspired by what they did, we're back at the same site. Follow our live blog and don't forget to sign the petition!"

Government ministers could be about to overrule Lancashire council's decision to say NO to fracking. Sign the petition to stop them and leave a message about why you stand against fracking.

To: David Cameron, Greg Clark MP

"Please respect Lancashire county council's democratic right to say no to fracking. Giving the shale gas industry permission to drill - after council leaders listened to local people and said no to fracking - would make a mockery of the government's support for local democracy."

Watch the video to see what happened when Emma and Sophie Thompson held a Bake Off inspired protest at a site that's been earmarked for fracking in Lancashire.

Though local people voted for their favourite cake, the government is stopping them having the final vote on fracking. Because in the coming weeks, drilling could be approved -- even though the local council has already said no to the industry.

Please sign the petition to Greg Clark -- the government minister who will decide if fracking will go ahead -- and ask him to respect our right to say no to shale gas.
